Supply chain finance for Canadian suppliers.
Working capital against your receivables in Canadian dollars, priced off CORRA.
Why this market
Canadian suppliers, particularly in cross-border automotive manufacturing, finance long payment cycles against buyers with materially stronger credit. Zenia underwrites the buyer's obligation rather than the supplier's balance sheet. Assignment is perfected through provincial PPSA registration, the closest analogue to the American UCC-1 filing.

The Michigan–Ontario corridor
Automotive supply across the Michigan–Ontario border is one continuous production system rather than two national ones. Under USMCA regional value content rules, a supplier failing on the far side of the border is a compliance problem as well as a commercial one. Zenia operates both markets, so a supplier shipping in both directions is financed as one relationship.
Regulation and legal basis
What governs supply chain finance in Canada, and what makes an assignment of receivables enforceable there.
- Bank of Canada

- FINTRAC
- Provincial securities and consumer-credit regulators
- Office of the Privacy Commissioner (PIPEDA)
Receivables assignment is perfected by registration in the relevant provincial PPSA registry — the closest analogue to a UCC-1 filing. Quebec operates a civil law regime under the RDPRM instead.
